Marelle
Care Guide
Last updated: 9 June 2026
Marelle is built to last. With the right routine, your device will deliver consistent, gentle results for years. Read through this guide before your first session, and refer back to it any time you need a refresher.
Before Your First Session
Shave the area you plan to treat the day before — never wax, epilate, or pluck. Clean, dry, and product-free skin is essential. Remove makeup, lotions, deodorants, and SPF from the treatment area.
Always perform a patch test on a small section of skin and wait 24 hours before proceeding to a full session.
During a Session
- Wear the included safety eyewear.
- Hold the device flush against the skin — the safety sensor only triggers on full contact.
- Work in slow, slightly overlapping passes. Never flash the same spot twice in one session.
- Start at the lowest intensity and step up gradually as your skin adjusts.
- A full body session takes about 10 minutes. Don't rush.
The Twelve-Week Ritual
For the first 12 weeks, use Marelle once a week. After that, switch to a maintenance cadence of once every 4–6 weeks. Consistency matters far more than intensity — most users see real changes around week 6 and lasting smoothness by week 12.
After Each Session
Skin may feel mildly warm for an hour or two. Apply a fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid direct sun on treated areas for 48 hours. Use SPF 30+ on any treated skin that will be exposed to sun.
Skip retinoids, exfoliating acids, and hot saunas for 24 hours post-session.
Cleaning Your Device
After each session, unplug Marelle and let it cool for 5 minutes. Wipe the flash window and body with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn residue, use a cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol on the flash window only — never the body.
Do not submerge the device in water or use abrasive cleaners.
Storage
Store Marelle in its original case, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Coil the cable loosely — never tightly around the device.
When Not to Use Marelle
- On tattoos, moles, or freckles.
- Over broken, irritated, or sunburned skin.
- During pregnancy.
- If you are taking photosensitizing medication.
- On skin tones outside the recommended range — check the compatibility guide.
